With the COVID-19 pandemic ongoing, PARC Retirement Living residences follow strict health and safety protocols when hosting tours for prospective residents. The safety of our PARC communities is our top priority. For now, tours are by appointment to our designated show suites only.
The safety of our PARC communities is our top priority and we have implemented some new health-and-safety protocols to keep everybody safe:
Move-in protocols
If the tour is successful and you decide to move in, you’ll be asked to follow several protocols we have in place to protect against COVID-19. Before your move-in date, one of our managers will meet you to review and complete a Move-In Disclosure Form. You’ll also receive a Pre-Move-In Precautionary Plan that we encourage all new residents to follow before arrival, then take a COVID-19 test. If you follow this procedure, and your COVID test comes back negative, you’ll be free to come and go upon arrival, but asked to follow a set of extra precautions, such as wearing a mask, for 10 days. If a pre-arrival COVID test isn’t possible, we’ll ask you to stay in your suite for three days as a precaution. Many new residents find this time useful for unpacking and settling in. During this period, a PARC employee will visit daily to monitor you for symptoms, and your meals will be delivered at no extra charge. After this period, if you remain asymptomatic, you can leave your suite, but will be required to wear a mask and follow some extra precautions for the next seven days.
