Samantha Robinson
Wellness Nurse [email protected]604.986.3633
Samantha started her career in long-term care where she worked as a dietary aide and health care aide, prior to completing her nursing education at Loyalist College in Ontario. With an impressive career as a nurse, Samantha has experience in acute medicine, cardiac care, telemetry, inpatient psychiatry and in the crisis unit of the emergency room. During Samantha’s time in psychiatry she was also able to see the surgical side of psychiatry while she worked as the hospital’s ECT nurse. Samantha continued her education by completing the Infection Control Practitioner program through Queen’s University in Ontario.
Throughout her career, one thing has always been clear to Samantha – she has a passion for supporting seniors. After studying Gerontological Activation, Samantha relocated to the Vancouver area where she gained further experience through travel nursing in various Long-Term Care settings. Later she joined the PARC team and found the Wellness Nurse Role was a perfect fit. Samantha believes that staying active, social, and connected is the best way for seniors to not only retain abilities, but improve them. At Cedar Springs PARC, she witnesses this first-hand each day.
