For Crystal Newland, great dining has always been about more than what’s on the plate, it’s about how people feel. And that belief has shaped her approach throughout her 25 years in the food and hospitality industry. 

Crystal began her career with Earls Restaurants, building a strong foundation in operations and team leadership. From there, she expanded her expertise across a wide range of settings, including Coast Coal Harbour, Fairmont Pacific Rim and Delta Grand Kelowna. She’s also taken on dynamic roles such as managing a live dinner theatre at the Kelowna Actors Studio and leading food and beverage operations at Prospera Place Arena.

Her diverse background gives her a unique ability to navigate a wide range of situations with confidence and care – and to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Whether she’s crafting a cocktail, optimizing a POS system or supporting her team members, Crystal combines technical know-how with a genuine commitment to care, compassion and high-quality dining experiences. 

Outside of work, Crystal enjoys spending time at home with her husband, their mini Australian Shepherd and their kitten. A self-proclaimed amateur interior designer, she also loves exploring new design ideas in her spare time.
