What does this mean for PARC employees?

The living wage is the a hourly amount that each parent needs to earn to meet their expenses. The living wage includes costs like rent and groceries as well as items like extended health care and two weeks’ savings for each adult. At PARC, we want to ensure that our employees participate in activities that are an ordinary element of life in the community. Furthermore, by becoming certified we promote healthy child developments and help wage earners in a household a voice the chronic stress of living in poverty.

At PARC Retirement Living social responsibility is of the utmost importance to us. We build community and our workplace is a community that embraces residents, employees and our neighbours.
