PARC Retirement Living recently made a donation of $1.2 million to Peace Arch Hospital Foundation. The funds will be allocated towards the redevelopment of five new surgical suites and, in recognition of our contribution, the registration and triage area in the hospital’s new emergency department will be named in our honour.

Supporting the communities surrounding our residences is integral to our philosophy at PARC, which comes directly from our owner and founder, Rainer Müller. Rainer believes strongly that being part of a connected, vibrant community is of utmost importance to the health and well-being of all who live and work there, not just seniors.

How we achieve this:

In fact, PARC sets aside 3% of annual revenues for donations and sponsorships, not only for charity and philanthropy but also to support each residence in community outreach and relationship building.

Some of these funds also go towards ensuring we uphold the six pillars of our IL+ philosophy in each residence, and to further development so that in our unique role, as both a builder and building operator, we can give back in the most holistic way possible and remain rooted in our local communities.
