With an accomplished career in the restaurant industry under his belt, Nelson is inspired and excited be at PARC. He relishes opportunities to form meaningful relationships with coworkers, community members and the people he serves each day: the residents of Mulberry PARC.
To begin his career, Nelson attended Vancouver Community College’s Culinary Arts program. He then embarked on a 31-year journey with White Spot where he worked his way up in the kitchen, before moving into management after a few years. He has since served as a kitchen manager, bar manager, general manager and service manager at different points. He also went through the inaugural class of the White Spot’s Culinary Red Seal program.
In his down time, Nelson loves biking, going to the gym, reading, playing board games, watching movies and spending time with family.
