Tessa found her true passion for working with seniors after visiting her Great Grandmother in her retirement community. It was after this visit that Tessa began volunteering at a local retirement home, leading programs for the residents in the evenings. Realizing this was an industry she truly loved, she decided to turn this passion into her full-time career. Since then, she has worked in recreation and operations roles over the past four years, and even moved across the country to continue working with seniors.

Tessa loves to let her personality shine while at work and enjoys making residents smile and laugh. You will often find her dancing to the beat of the music at live entertainment or joining in on a program so she can get to know her community more. Her door is always open and she encourages residents and family members to stop in for a visit.

In her spare time, Tessa enjoys hiking, skiing, backpacking, climbing or biking! Anything outdoors is her niche. In between adventures, she enjoys trying out new craft breweries, or relaxing at home cooking and baking.
