Sonny Mendoza came to senior living from a successful career starting in the restaurant industry. Sonny’s adventurous and exotic profession as Private Chef, serving elite global clients, led him to future positions as Sous Chef and Executive Chef.

Looking for a new challenge, Sonny took his passion for elevated customer service and culinary excellence to the senior living sector. With time, passion, and hard work, Sonny furthered his career to the leadership position of General Manager in retirement living establishments.

Fast-forward to the present—Sonny’s valuable experience and prowess now guide a dynamic employee team and spirited resident population, as General Manager of the lively and stylish Oceana PARC in White Rock.

Outside of work, food remains a big part of Sonny’s life. With his wife Tammy, he enjoys cooking, dining out and gathering to eat with friends and family. He’s also an avid golfer who looks forward to an annual golf trip with close friends.
