For Daniel Damile, helping others live fully isn’t just a job – it’s a lifelong passion. With experience supporting individuals at every stage of life, Daniel brings a deeply people-centred approach to his role as Active Living Manager at Summerhill PARC.

His experience at UBC Student Housing, where he was responsible for resident wellbeing, as well as four years working in seniors’ living in Alberta, helped him develop an invaluable combination of leadership and problem-solving skills, expertise in program design, mental health and wellness, active listening and community management. His educational foundation also includes a bachelor’s degree in political science and sociology, a master’s in public policy and management, and certifications in social work practice, human resources, mental health first aid, suicide prevention, and National Academy of Sports Medicine personal fitness training.

PARC is a natural fit for Daniel, who thrives on creating inclusive experiences that spark connection – whether through meaningful conversation, well-designed programs or helping residents build new friendships. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, staying active and getting outside to hike, walk and run stairs.
