Born and raised in Japan, Shin Immigrated to Canada in 2007 and became a citizen in 2011.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management & Leadership with distinction, a Personal Support Worker (PSW) certification and studied Practical Nursing for a year. He joined the PARC family in March 2020 as the Dining Room Supervisor at Cedar Springs bringing with him over 25 years of extensive hotel and restaurant hospitality management experience including: food and beverage outlet, restaurant, lounge & bar, banquet, conference & catering, and in-room dining.  Shin has worked for large hotels such as the Fairmont Royal York in Canada, Renaissance Hotel in the U.S., Nikko Hotel (JAL: Japan Airlines) in Australia, and Hotel Associa Shizuoka (JR-Central Hotels) in Japan.

Outside of work, Shin’s hobby is practicing Japanese Calligraphy.
