Edmonds Community Center Exterior

A central location with a strong sense of community

At one time, Burnaby was viewed mainly as Vancouver’s suburban backyard. And while the city retains a relaxed, slower-paced feel than its cosmopolitan neighbour– today it’s a desirable destination in its own right, with cozy neighbourhoods, beautiful parks and glittering towers along the horizon housing some of the region’s best shopping and entertainment. One of Burnaby’s nicknames is “DiverseCity” and from our location on Kingsway, you can truly see why, with every kind of amenity, shop, restaurant and activity imaginable right nearby. Burnaby is also one of the greenest cities in the province, with one of the highest ratios of parkland to residents. The city boasts more than 200 parks, and 25 percent of its land is designated as park or open space.

And Mulberry PARC is at the centre of it all, just off the Kingsway arterial, which threads directly through the heart of central Burnaby. From our location, you can walk to almost anything you would need, from groceries, medical appointments or banking. It’s also easy to access local transport networks such as the SkyTrain and TransLink bus system. Or, you can hop on the highway for a quick drive to downtown Vancouver; east to Coquitlam; or over to Ironworkers Memorial Bridge to the North Shore and Coast Mountains.
