Margaret has been employed as an executive leader in the development, real estate, and hospitality industry for over 30 years. Her career includes 15 years as General Manager of the former Douglas Hotel in Victoria, where she was tasked with transforming the heritage building into what is now the Rialto Hotel. Through that experience and her role as a Victoria City Councillor, Margaret has a keen understanding of the heart and soul in real estate and in-depth knowledge of municipal government and community issues. 

Outside of work, Margaret can be found cooking, gardening and (her favourite pastime of all) spending time with her grandchildren.
